Anamorphic
Anamorphic, use a special technique to compress the horizontal aspect of the image. Historically, they were used in filmmaking to better utilize the vertical space of film. Today, their use is often driven by aesthetic choices. When shooting with anamorphic, the horizontal aspect of the image is compressed. By adjusting the viewfinder's anamorphic parameters according to the lens's ratio, you can restore the image to its normal appearance. For example, if the anamorphic ratio is 2x, setting the “Anamorphic Ratio” in the viewfinder to “2” will convert an original 6:5 image to the standard 2.4:1 widescreen format. The viewfinder offers the following anamorphic ratios: [1.25x, 1.33x, 1.5x, 1.75x, 1.8x, 2x, 0.5x, 0.67x], accommodating almost all anamorphic lenses available on the market.
