Recording

The Eagle SDI e-viewfinder can be connected to the camera’s RS port via a cable to provide power to the viewfinder and trigger recording through it.

With the default settings, the recording button is used to turn the waveform on or off. To use the recording button to trigger recording on the camera, you’ll need to change the function of the recording button.

Customize REC Buttom Function

[Menu–>Settings–>User Button–>REC] — [REC]

NOTICE The camera’s RS port should be a Fischer 3-pin, and you should use the Kinefinity SDI viewfinder cable with an RS port to enable triggering camera recording with the Eagle SDI e-viewfinder.
